Baycran, Inc., along with its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Baycran,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”), highly regards the privacy of individuals engaging with our application and websites (collectively referred to as the “Baycran Platform”), as well as those using our transportation and/or other services (collectively, our “Services”). This privacy policy (referred to as the “Privacy Policy”) delineates how we gather, utilize, and distribute information from Baycran users, including any individuals accessing the Baycran Platform or utilizing our Services, encompassing those who may not be subscribers but ride in a Baycran vehicle at the invitation of a subscriber (referred to collectively as “Customers”). Besides the Privacy Policy, your interaction with the Baycran Platform or utilization of our Services is also subject to our Terms of Service.

I. Information We Gather

A. Information Provided by You

Your Profile Details. Upon using the Baycran Platform to create an account or place an order, you provide us with your name, address, email address, phone number, photograph, login credentials, billing information (comprising credit card details and expiry dates), and any preferences and settings you set for your Baycran account as you engage with the platform. We may gather both “Personal Information” and “Anonymous Information” about you during your Baycran Platform usage. Personal Information refers to details that can be used to contact or identify you, such as your full name, email address, phone number, payment method, and profile picture, as well as information linked to such data. “Anonymous Information” pertains to data that cannot be used to contact or identify you and is not associated with information that can be used for identification. It includes passively collected data about your activities on our Service, such as usage data, provided such information is not linked to your Personal Information.
Certain portions of the Baycran Platform can be accessed and browsed without disclosing your Personal Information; however, akin to most website and mobile app providers, we passively collect certain data from your devices, such as your IP address, browser details, unique device identifier (“UDID”), and/or your mobile operating system. It is essential to note that opting not to furnish us with certain information will curtail your access to and usage of Baycran Platform features and Services. Registration with Baycran through the Baycran Platform is imperative to utilize our Service.
Communications With Baycran. Information you submit when contacting our Baycran support team, providing ratings or compliments for Drivers, or any other form of contact with us, is collected by us. For instance, when you request a ride or delivery, we receive your designated pickup and drop-off location, along with any notes you furnish for your Driver. Additionally, when you communicate with our team, we receive your name, email address, phone number, the content of your message or attachments, and any other information you opt to provide.
Demographic Data: Your responses to our surveys and any demographic information you provide to us are collected.
Identity Permissions:
Email ID: Access to your email ID is requested for login purposes and to convey important account-related information.
NAME: Access to your name is requested to personalize your experience and furnish you with pertinent information.
SMS: Access to your SMS is requested for OTP verification to ensure account security.
Location Permissions:
Fine Location: Access to your fine location is requested to facilitate rides and offer accurate location-based services.
Background Location: Background location access is employed to track your location for ride purposes even when the app is closed, ensuring a seamless experience.
